Birthday Bash #20

It was Deanna's 20th Birthday on the 30 of April and we decided to throw a 24 hour party for her. It was a lot of fun and was a lot of stuff to do!!

Weekend in the Provo

Sooo yes this was about two weeks ago. BUT I was able to spend an amazing weekend with Mom, Laura, Staci Rob, David, Blake, and of course the babes. It started a little emotional with seeing Mom for the first time since January and it was amazing the rest of the weekend to spend with her and to catch up.

This weekend was a real blessing to me. I didn't realize it before, but I really needed some good old family time, especially with Mom. I wish the entire family had been there, it would have made the entire weekend most definitely amazing! While down there in Provo I was able to meet the Larson family a little bit more than I had a week before waiting for my shuttle back to school. And I have to say I feel as though I have known the family my whole life. They are all so warm and caring and welcoming.

The Bridal Shower thrown for Laura was perfect. The Larson sisters did it perfectly. It was a little bit of traditional with some spice thrown in there to make it fun for us younger people there. I was able to buy Laura some very fancy perfume from Victoria's Secret along with some edible body icing for the wedding night ;)

FUNNY STORY TIME: I was playing outside with Gracie and Sophie (Blake's nieces) and we were having a wonderful time together....maybe.lol. When out of nowhere a FREAKIN BIRD POOPED ON ME!! Thankfully it was only on my (new) shirt and was only a little bit. Anne helped me clean it off gently and it has been saved. Unfortunately my dignity was not saved and am now afraid of birds.

BUT it was an amazing trip down to Provo. I am glad that I was able to see some family for a while and of course to see my Mom. I'm glad that Laura was able to have some Martin Girls there for her special day. Well one of them leading up to thee ONE!
